VDA 19.1 regulation sets out the conditions for the application and documentation of the methods for determining the pollution of the parts on which the functionality of the vehicle depends by solid particles (cleanliness testing).

- Quality control or monitoring of production processes that are related to cleanliness (e.g. cleaning, surface treatment, assembly, …)

The German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA) standard defines requirements on product audit and requalification tests. The current edition of the standard is focused on the requirements of ISO 19011 standard. At the same time, a product audit planning manual was developed to enable organizations to create their own product auditing system. Being on of the kez elements in quality management system, the product audit should demonstrate the qualitative level of internally or externally produced parts.
